Machine Binding Your Quilt with Jennifer
Binding your quilt can be one of the most intimidating parts of the quilting process, join Jennifer in this 2 evening class and learn how to machine bind your quilt...no hand sewing! You will need to bring the following supplies:
- A quilt or other project that needs to bound
- Prepared quilt/project binding
- Thread to match your binding fabric
- Thread to match your backing fabric
- Sewing Machine in good working order (have a copy of your machine manual handy)
- Sewing Machine foot attachments (bring all of them so we can find the best one)
- Extra machine needles (size 80/12 or 90/14)
- Bobbins
- A fabric marking pen/pencil
- Small scissors (for snipping thread)
- Rotary cutter (45mm)
- Seam ripper
- Straight Pins
- Sewing Clips
- Small square either 4.5, 5 or 8.5”
- The shop has irons, ironing boards, rulers and cutting mats available for your use.
You will receive an email with instructions after registering for the class.
You will receive a 10% discount on fabric & supplies purchased at our shop for this class.

A few years ago, she took her first class, and in that class, she realized she had been missing out on quilting for far too many years. Her love for quilting has been fast and furious, she has taken numerous classes and workshops to develop her skills. She has made countless quilts, tote bags, mug rugs, table runners, and placemats etc. In 2021 she began sharing her love of quilting through teaching. |
