Zipper Pouch with Roxanne - Beginner
Join Roxanne for the morning and make a Zipper pouch! If you have never put a zipper in a project before, this class is for you!
Zipper Pouch finishes at approx. H:6"xW:9.5"xD:4"
Standard Supplies List
- Sewing Machine in good working order (have a copy of your machine manual handy
- Sewing Machine foot attachments (a quarter inch foot and zipper foot are required)
- Extra machine needles (universal size 80/12 or 90/14)
- Bobbins
- Thread for top stitching to match your pretty & lining fabric.
- A fabric marking pen/pencil
- A pen/pencil and notebook
- Scissors for snipping thread
- Rotary cutter (45mm)
- Seam ripper
- Straight Pins
- Ruler (I recommend a 6inch x 24inch quilting ruler) I do have a couple of these available at the shop for student use but if you have one, please bring one.
- The shop has irons, ironing boards, rulers and cutting mats available for your use
Project Supplies
Kits are available with your registration for the cost of $15.00
OR you will need:
- One Fat Quarter (H:22” x W:18”) for Exterior Fabric
- One Fat Quarter (H:22” x W:18”) for Lining Fabric
- One H:22” x W:18” for Fusible Fleece
- One Zipper (minimum 14”)

| Instructor Bio: | Roxanne enjoyed a career as an educator, so it was natural for her to fall into instructing quilting. She has been sewing for 40+ years and quilting like it is sustenance since 2008. Roxanne loves the whole quilting process planning, selecting fabrics, changing patterns to suit her needs, sewing, quilting, and finishing. She loves the math that’s involved, enjoys all techniques but is always looking for a more efficient and usually easier way to do things. |
