Range Backpack with Roxanne

Join Roxanne for this weekend class and make a Range Backpack. A useful and fun backpack to make! It’s great for any outing where you need to be hands free! The foldover top and closure keep things secure, while the front zippered pocket keeps essentials within easy reach. Adjustable straps make it wearable in any season.
Finished Dimensions: 15in tall (closed), 10-1/2in wide x 4in deep (at base)

Standard Supplies List

• Sewing Machine in good working order (have a copy of your machine manual handy
• Sewing Machine foot attachments (a quarter inch foot, zipper foot and a walking foot are required)
• Bobbins
• A fabric marking pen/pencil
• Scissors for snipping thread
• Rotary cutter (45mm)
• Seam ripper
• Straight Pins
• Ruler (I recommend a 6inch x 24inch quilting ruler) I do have a couple of these available at the shop for student use but if you have one, please bring one.
• The shop has irons, ironing boards, and cutting mats available for your use.

Instructor:	Roxanne Yarn
Instructor Bio:	Roxanne enjoyed a career as an educator, so it was natural for her to fall into instructing quilting. She has been sewing for 40+ years and quilting like it is sustenance since 2008. Roxanne loves the whole quilting process planning, selecting fabrics, changing patterns to suit her needs, sewing, quilting, and finishing. She loves the math that’s involved, enjoys all techniques but is always looking for a more efficient and usually easier way to do things.
