Louie Waist Pack with Donna M
Join Donna and make your own Louie Waist Pack! The Louie Waist Pack is a "fanny pack" or hip bag that is worn either around the waist or across the body. This bag is soft-sided and is designed to be a small pack to keep your hands free!
General Supplies:
- Sewing Machine in good working order (have a copy of your machine manual handy
- Sewing Machine foot attachments (a quarter inch foot, a zipper foot and walking foot are required)
- Extra machine needles (Jeans needle OR Microtex needle)
- Bobbins
- POLYESTER Thread for top stitching to match your pretty & lining fabric.
- A fabric marking pen/pencil
- Scissors for snipping thread
- Rotary cutter (45mm) – please have a fresh blade in your cutter
- Seam ripper
- Straight Pins
- Rulers – a 6” x 24” and a 12.5 (or larger) square. I do have a couple of these available at the shop for student use but if you have these, please bring them.
- The shop has irons, ironing boards, and cutting mats available for your use.
- A pen/pencil & notebook for taking notes
