Chain Link Quilt with Gloria
Join Gloria for 5 weeks of stitching fun as you master your HST's and QST's and bring them together into a stunning Chain-Link quilt top!
Finished size is approx. 59"x69" (throw size)
General Supplies:
- Sewing Machine in good working order (have a copy of your machine manual handy)
- Sewing Machine foot attachments (a ¼” foot and a walking foot will be beneficial for this class)
- Extra machine needles (universal size 80/12 or 90/14)
- Bobbins
- Thread for piecing (I recommend 100% cotton 50 weight thread in a light neutral colour)
- A fabric marking pen/pencil
- Scissors for snipping thread
- Rotary cutter (45mm)
- Seam ripper
- Straight Pins
- Rulers (see project supplies for specifics) I do have a few rulers available at the shop for student use but if you have one, please bring one.
- A pen/pencil & notebook for taking notes
NOTE: Solids or blenders work best
- Light (shown in white) – 1.5 meter (includes border 1)
- Medium (shown in pink) – 1.5 meters
- Dark (shown in green) – 2.5 meters (includes border & binding)
- 6” x 24” and an 8.5” or larger square ruler
