Cheer Up Quilt Class with Gloria
Join Gloria this summer for a beginner-friendly, fun quilting class! Over four Wednesday mornings, you’ll create the beautiful Cheer Up Quilt—the perfect project to brighten your season and build your skills. Whether you’re new to quilting or just looking for a cheerful project, this class is a great way to spend your summer mornings.
What To Bring
General Supplies:
- Sewing Machine in good working order (have a copy of your machine manual handy)
- Sewing Machine foot attachments (a ¼” foot is required for this class)
- Extra machine needles (universal size 80/12 or 90/14)
- Bobbins
- Thread for piecing (I recommend 100% cotton 50 weight thread in a neutral colour)
- A fabric marking pen/pencil
- Scissors for snipping thread
- Rotary cutter (45mm)
- Seam ripper
- Straight Pins
- Rulers (see project supplies for specifics) I do have a few rulers available at the shop for student use but if you have one, please bring one.
- A pen/pencil & notebook for taking notes

| Skill Details: | You must know how to use your sewing machine, sew a straight line using a 1/4" seam and be comfortable cutting fabric with a ruler & rotary cutter. |
