Autumn Table Runner with Gloria
Join Gloria for this fun three-week Advanced Beginner class and create an adorable autumn table runner! This charming runner features pumpkins in a variety of shapes and sizes, leaves and the sweetest little black cat. It’s the perfect project to welcome the cozy colours and feel of fall into your home.

What to bring:
General Supplies:
- Sewing Machine in good working order (have a copy of your machine manual handy)
- Sewing Machine feet (a ¼” foot and a walking foot)
- Extra machine needles (universal size 80/12 or 90/14)
- Light neutral coloured thread for piecing
- A regular pencil
- Rotary cutter
- Seam ripper
- Straight Pins
- A pen/pencil for taking notes
- The shop has irons, ironing boards, rulers and cutting mats available for your use.
Fabric/Project Requirements (finished size 15.5” x 42.5”)
Pattern: Students must download & print the free pattern. The website link will be provided in class reminder email.
Fabric: (kits are avilable for the cost of $55, this will include main fabric & binding. Backing & batting is not included. Please let us know in advance if you would like a kit.)
- Scraps for the orange pumpkins (or 8- 10” squares of a variety of oranges; one per pumpkin)
- 1 fat eighth black fabric (cat)
- Scraps for the brown fabric (each stem can be cut from a different fabric or the same fabric)
- 1 fat eighth green fabric (leaves)
- 1 fat eighth red fabric (leaves)
- 1 fat eighth yellow fabric (leaves)
- 1/8 yard yellow fabric (border)
- 3/4 yard background fabric
- 1/3 yard binding fabric
- 20”x49” piece of fabric for backing
- 20”x49” piece of batting
